This focus has helped us bring to y'all a very cost effective modular universal fireplace grate. It uses a 4x2x0.084" heat exchanger tube that can be oriented right or left like the HTH, as well as vertical like our GR models that naturally convect in a power outage the same as a fan less fireplace grate heat exchanger.
The DC fireplace grate can be used in any combination that suits you 1, 2, 3, 4, or more....
Each one has a 40 cfm 90 mm USB powered blower fan. This means even in a power outage you can keep the heat on using a common USB battery bank; which hopefully you already have several of if you worry about loss of electricity!
By making use of a USB powered blower it also solves a global spec problem. We can now ship the same box globally without the need or worry of including a Adapter or AC powered fan to match the supply available at the destination 120/220!
The design of the DC streamlined manufacturing and reduced material costs so we could again offer an excellent performing fireplace grate similar to the HTH we brought out in the economic crunch of 2008. We eliminated unneeded complexity and reduced parts count and length of welding to make a durable product where we can keep the cost of manufacturing to a level that combats the global inflation helping us offer an economical product to keep more families warm.
